Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides front-line support to customers and internal teams in a plastic injection molding environment. This role focuses on order entry, invoicing, and customer communication, while assisting with basic financial, reporting, and documentation tasks. The CSR ensures accurate processing of customer requests and supports day-to-day operations under the guidance of senior staff. Adheres to all plant and OSHA safety policies and regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Order Entry: Enter customer purchase orders into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy of part numbers, pricing, and quantities.
- Customer Contact: Respond to customer calls and emails regarding order status, shipping updates, and basic inquiries.
- Customer Portal monitoring: Checks for new orders daily to keep ERP systems accurate and up to date.
- Invoicing & AR/AP Support: Generate invoices, assist with payment questions, and help resolve billing discrepancies.
- Forecasting Assistance: Collect and input customer forecast information to support production planning.
- Reporting: Prepare basic order, shipment, and backlog reports for customer and internal use.
- RMA Processing: Assist with Return Material Authorization requests by logging cases, preparing documentation, and coordinating with quality/production.
- Work Instructions: Follow established work instructions and assist in updating procedures as needed.
- Capex/Expenses Support: Provide clerical support for tracking capital expenditure (Capex) and expense reports.
- Tooling Support: Responsible for entering and tracking customer tooling POs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and finance teams to support customer needs.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical coursework preferred.
- 1–2 years of customer service, office, or administrative experience (manufacturing or injection molding a plus).
- Basic knowledge of order entry, invoicing, or financial transactions (AR/AP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.
